Indoor Soccer League

The indoor soccer league will begin Sunday January, 23rd 2011.
-Games will be played from 9am - 1pm every Sunday.
-Please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled game in order to ensure all games start on time.
-We will have a short pre-game prior to the start of every game.

Sign up now for the outdoor soccer league at Cosmo Park! Inshallah, we are planning to have a 7 week soccer league. The games will be 7v7.

Registration is due NOW for the Soccer League. Payment is due by April 23rd. Go to the website to complete the registration form. Registration is not guaranteed without payment. Payment can be given to br. Munir or br. Fuad.

The league will be played April 25-June 6. The games will be at Cosmo park.

Games are every Sunday from 9 am to 2 pm.

The players will be placed on teams for the first week. After everyone meets each other, we will hold a draft to divide the teams. This helps the teams to be even and games to be fun for everyone.

The league is open to all brothers 15 years old and up. Registration fee is $25. Teams will play 7 games. Please contact us if you have any questions about this.

Thursday Night Soccer Signup- March 4th

Thursday Night Indoor Soccer
1 hour of non-stop soccer!
Open to brothers high school and up
Limit 21 players per night
Teams are formed there

Finals and Award Ceremony

Inshallah the finals will be on Sunday, February 14^th. All teams will play for their final rankings.

Afterwards, we will have an award ceremony for team and individual awards. Lunch and refreshments will be served.

The awards ceremony will be in the ICCM activity room right after the final game. Bring pants/change of clothes for Dhur prayer.

IMPORTANT RULES AND PROCEDURES

Overtime Period and Tiebreaker

If, in a tournament, playoff, or championship, the game is tied at the end of regulation play, an Overtime Period follows. The time allowed for such a period will be a one three-minute period until completion. If still tied at the end of the Overtime Period, a second Overtime Period follows. The time allowed for such a period will be a one three-minute sudden period. If still tied at the end of the Overtime Periods, a shoot-out will occur.

In the Overtime Periods, except if otherwise mandated by the Referee, the game clock counts down continuously through each half or overtime period stopping only for goals scored.

Playing on the Ground

Players may not play the ball when:

1. any part of the body other than the feet is touching the ground
   
2. a players momentum or motion of playing the ball carries any part of the body, except the feet, to touch the ground.
   
3. doing so would result in a slide tackle
   

The above does not apply to goal keepers playing on the ground within the penalty area.
